Heather graduated with a Masters of Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS in 2017. While training at NESA, Heather studied both Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture. The latter allows Heather to more easily work with needle-sensitive patients and children. Heather chose to specialize in women’s health after her own four-year fertility journey. After extensive training with Angie, Heather became an Associate Acupuncturist at Angela Bell Acupuncture in January 2018.

In addition, Heather is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master Teacher. She has been offering Reiki professionally in the Boston area since 2009 and graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in 2010. Prior to joining the health and wellness industry, Heather earned her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, GA. She has eight years of classroom teaching experience and has taught anatomy and physiology to massage students.

Heather considers herself a lifelong learner and the practice of acupuncture allows her the opportunity to learn new evidence-based practices and integrate them into her patient’s care.

While she isn’t caring for patients, Heather enjoys reading and writing children’s literature, playing piano or violin, and hiking with her family.
